Happy Mother's Day!

This Sunday it's the Mother's Day so we made little love letter for our Mums today. We talked about what my Mum likes and drew pictures of it on a piece of paper. Then we rolled it like a toilet roll and tied it with a loom band. We also made a love heart that can go as a handle for the letter.

Jelly on a plate

Our poem of the week is "Jelly on a plate".

We read the poem, discussed rhyming words and wow word. We even listened to the song on youtube. 

To end this week, we made jelly with Room 7 buddies. There was yellow jelly, blue jelly, green jelly, and red jelly. The flavours were blueberry, lemon, lime, strawberry, and rasberry! 

It was so delicious! Yum!

Key to be a good friend

We learned how to be a good friend in the last two weeks. We brainstormed what does being a good friend mean and drew a picture of us being a good friend at school on our keys.

Look at our bright poster! We will always remember these when we play with our friends!

Skip counting in 2s

In Room 10, we have been learning to skip count in 2s.
We sang this song to practice our learning!

Osmo kits with Room 7 Buddies

Today we learned how to use Osmo kits with our wonderful Room 7 Buddies! There are numbers, words, and shapes to play with Osmo kits and it was so fun learning new technology! Some tasks were tricky but we worked together with our buddies to solve them. We will have a Osmo table in Room 10 soon so everyone gets to play with it. 

Counting on

We are learning to count on in Maths. We can solve problems faster using counting on. We will practice more to be a confident mathematicians!

We also learned patterns! Patterns are repetitive shapes or colours. We made some patterns using shapes.
