Birthday cakes

Room 10 designed birthday cakes for our topic art.
We used pencil to sketch then traced the lines with vivids.
To colour the cakes, we used water colour paints.
They look so delicious and bright!

Celebration

Celebrations! is our new topic for this term.
We discussed when we celebrate.
Birthdays, Weddings, Guy Fawks day, New Years, Christmas, Chinese Full Moon Day, and so on.

This week we learned about Weddings.
Then we designed wedding dress for brides and suit for grooms.
They look so cute hanging on our topic wall.

Fun maths time!

In Room 10, we are upskilling our addition and subtraction mathematics skills!

On Thursday, Miss Joo put us into groups of two for maths.
We had to choose an equation from the board, draw picture for the equation, and chose two colours to show our equation.

It required teamwork skill and many of us did wonderfully!

Well done teams!

Playground art

We are learning to play safely on the playground outside as our topic for three weeks.

We made a mini playground for art and going to make puppets to demonstrate safe play next week.

Safety makes playing more fun!

Weather mobile

Last week we read a poem called weather and made a weather mobile for art on Friday.
We cut out weathers - sunny, rainy, thundery, cloudy, and a rainbow and decorated the paper plate with paints and pastels.

They are displayed in Room 10 brightening our classroom!
